Freebandz Records wanted to make the merchandise rollout associated with Future’s High Off Life album as special as could be. The merchandise rollout had its own branding, titled the Life is a High collection. They believed animations would enhance the release experience. They enlisted me to create them.

The collection of animations exhibits the apparel items both on models and in mock-up form. One set of animations depicts the items in the sky, as a direct nod to the collection’s theme. The other set settles the pieces as foreground elements among colorful atmospheres that are akin to the album’s vibrant sounds.

Aside from visual purposes, another function of the animations was to direct the consumer to the point-of-sale and therefore the animations also included directional guidance for accessing the necessary e-commerce website.
